Fundación Montemadrid

Fundación Montemadrid is a private non-profit entity whose main lines of work are: Social Action, Education, Culture and Environment. The foundation supports, in a direct way or thanks to alliances, projects for inclusion, equal opportunities, autonomy and integration of groups and individuals with social problems. Promotes youth employment, the supported employment or the employment in the field of ecology. Much of its work is geared towards supporting third sector entities, although the biggest effort is concentrated on its own spaces: five nursery schools with about 1,000 children, five schools with 2,200 students, three spaces for seniors, four libraries, one sports hall -where integration activities through sports are developed-, a special employment center and an occupational center; besides of 35 management centers assigned to social institutions. It should be mentioned among other educational projects, that Fundación Montemadrid grants more than 140 scholarships for training students and post-graduate ones, who wish to study aboard.
