JOT ENGINEERS

JOT Engineers is an autonomous company forming part of the JOT Group of companies. It was established to provide the previously marginalised professionals an opportunity to be equal stakeholders in consultancy and supply of equipment.

As a brainchild of a black South African woman, JOT falls under the category of Black Woman Owned Business (BWO). Since its inception July 1999, JOT has continued to give equal opportunities to the previously marginalised populations of South Africa to participate in and empower themselves in the business of Engineering Consultancy and equipment supply. JOT has done well by looking for renowned international manufactures who, when they come to Sub-Sahara Africa as new players, will enhance competition so as to shorten lead time and bring in competitive prices which are unfounded from the current players due to the work overload which has been prompted by rapid economic growth in the region.

JOT prides itself in its competent and seasoned professionals who include Engineers, Technologists and Technicians with diverse experience in Electrical Engineering, Plant Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Project Management.

JOT provides consultancy services for the development of buildings, infrastructure and facilities. JOT has annexed itself with some international manufacturers for Power Transformers, HV, MV, LV, switchgear, DC systems and EPC (engineering procurement and construction) contractors for turnkey power plant stations. JOT has aligned its business activities with Eskom’s business with which JOT is an accredited service provider and approved supplier of plant and power system equipment as a preferred vender.
