Vision and future
2005 - The firms Yamanouchi and Fujisawa merged to form the current Astellas. Since then we concentrate on the development of medicines of the highest quality in all relevant treatment areas. We do this by combining research and development with market knowledge and by continuing to grow in the pharmaceutical world. 2006 -In management vision VISION 2015, Astellas formulates how Global Category Leader (GCL) would be in a number of therapeutic categories which are significant unmet medical needs and which special expertise is required. 2008 -In the campaign Astellas Changing Tomorrow shows how they can create a better future for all stakeholders.
