The company is fully owned by the two founding partners, Lars K. Hammershøj and Per K. Melgaard, who both have had a long and successful career supporting energy project development and construction. With offices on six continents and over 250 staff, K2 Management operates a cross-border approach to projects to provide clients with the right team and setup and the best possible results, regardless of the project’s location. Our specialists have advised clients on projects around the world, from onshore wind in SE Asia to some of the world’s largest offshore wind projects. With hands-on experience covering the full project life cycle, we bring practical, value-adding advice regardless of the stage of development or operation of your investment. We identify and mitigate construction risks, such as ground risk, interface risk, permit compliance, foundation and WTG installation, construction schedule confidence. Our focus is to improve the project itself as the most reliable way of reducing completion, cost and operating risks. We undertake detailed review of wind energy forecasts, looking at reliability and appropriateness of measurement methods used, and if realistic assumptions have been used for uncertainties and technical loss factors. 

Our civil engineering team provides clients with in-depth technical advice on a whole host of civil engineering matters.

Our highly experienced team carry out full, detailed design and costing for onshore foundations, roads, buildings, crane hardstands, drainage, bridges and culverts. We produce efficient and optimized designs which can often save clients around EUR 50,000 per foundation.

Additionally, we carry out design for onshore met masts, from foundation to operation.  From the technical elements of wave loading analysis and met ocean reviews, to 3D modeling, CAD draughting and foundation design review, K2 Management manages the whole civils process.  With expertise across the industry, we can effectively undertake BoP/ EPC contract procurement, specification, evaluation and negotiation to bring together the best contractors for the job.
