The Development Horizons Foundation (Mongolia)

Development Horizons Foundation (DHF) was established in 2011 in Mongolia with the purpose to support human development, facilitate improving livelihoods and education opportunities of vulnerable citizens, introduce environment-friendly new technologies as well as develop and implement versatile projects, programs and campaigns with broader stakeholders.
DHF was born as a result of expansion of content and scope of activities of the Gender Center for Sustainable Development (GCSD) - well known national NGO and the Tolgoit Community Development Center (TCDC). 17 years of solid experience of GCSD and TCDC throughout Mongolia and their partnership in the Asia-Pacific region in promoting human development and gender equality agenda by mainstreaming gender and related issues into local and national level social and economic planning processes through systematic dialogue, based on action research findings, policy analysis and advocacy training will add strong value and weight to the planned actions to the DHF.

DHF is partnering with all interested parties working in the specific areas of the Sustainable Development Goals (2030) in promoting of the green growth and green economy, capacity building for environmental governance, gender mainstreaming and South-South cooperation.
