About

Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals (ISAP) is a non-government, non-profit organisation, incorporated in 2001 with the aim to work for livelihood enhancement of rural communities. In its formative years, ISAP's focus was on farmers' technical training through on-field and ICT-based interventions for agriculture development. Based on extensive learning on the field, over the years, its work has evolved to include integrated farming, farmer aggregation and market linkages into a comprehensive sustainable rural livelihoods approach.

Key achievements of ISAP:

-Reached 8000 Villages, 250 blocks, 100 districts in 18 States
-Touched and transformed the lives of one million Farm Households
-Provided Entrepreneurship Development training to more than 6100 agri-graduates and incubated 2451 successful ventures
-Trained 27,000 BPL rural youth on vocational skills and helped them gain meaningful livelihoods..
-Successfully running Community Radio Stations "Kissan Vani Sironj" in District vidisha of Madhya Pradesh, "Kissan Vani Digod" in Distt Kota and "Kissan Vani Deeg" in Distt Bharatpur of Rajasthan.
-Created more than 200 farmer producer companies owned by @200,000 farmers across India

-ISAP extensively deploys ICT & Social media for networking and knowledge sharing. ISAP’s digital footprints covers nearly one million agri sector professionals, startups, ngos, early adopters and influencers among farmers in 22 States.
