Rahnuma - FPAP Family Planning Association of Pakistan

Family Planning Association of Pakistan (Rahnuma FPAP) is among the pioneers of family planning activities in Pakistan. Founded in 1953, Rahmuna affiliated with the International Planned Parenthood Federation in London after just one year of activity. Today, the organization is one of the largest service providers in the field of SRHR/FP in Pakistan. Rahnuma has created a service delivery network that comprises 104 static units. These include nine family health hospitals, three development complexes, 2,356 associated clinics, 10 mobile service units, six toll-free Youth Help Lines, six Youth Friendly Clinics and 52 Youth Resource Centers. Rahnuma operations cover 77910 sq. km. and serve over 12 million people in all the areas where it operates.

Rahnuma has experience of cooperating with the Pakistan Army and the country’s Air Force, the city government in Lahore, railways, Northern Areas’ Health Department and other public sector entities.
