National Statistical Bureau of the Republic of Moldova

National Statistics Bureau's mission is to develop policies in statistics and ensure public authorities and local business environment, scientific research, academia academic, media, public at large, and other categories of users, including organizations and international organizations as appropriate, statistical data and information quality and time on the social and economic situation of the country.

In organizing and coordinating official statistics of the Republic of Moldova, in the exercise of its functions and attributions, the Office is directed and guided by criteria based on the adequacy of financial resources, human and material dimension programs statistical work, ensure the quality of statistical objectivity and transparency of the process statistical, methodological and technical stability, the use of procedures, standards and rules such as to ensure efficiency in terms of cost / quality of statistical information.
