Tanager Intl (formerly known as ASI - Agribusiness Systems International)

Tanager is an international nonprofit that brings people together to co-create economic and social opportunities that change lives. The Tanager name and logo speak directly to finding and using the right tools in pursuit of that goal. Originally established as Agribusiness Systems International (ASI) in 1993 as an affiliate of ACDI/VOCA, we have been making agriculture work better for people. We offer a focused and diligent team of locally based experts and international advisors who work with our partners to reach common goals. On our 25th anniversary, we changed our name to Tanager, to reflect how markets around the world are constantly evolving, and so are we.

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 11, 2018 – Agribusiness Systems International (ASI), an affiliate of the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit ACDI/VOCA, today announced it has been renamed Tanager after a year-long rebranding process. The new name represents an organization with a sharpened mission and a distinctive presence and positioning.
