Description:

The U.S. Government, represented by the United States Agency for International Development Mission to Ethiopia (USAID/Ethiopia), contemplates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a contract for the implementation of the USAID Ethiopia Household Economy Approach Utilization (HEA-U) follow-on Activity that is envisioned to develop, and implement a program to support strengthen Government of Ethiopia (GOE’s) capacity for disaster risk management in Ethiopia, titled Household Economy Approach Utilization (HEA-U) Activity.   The objective of the new Household Economy Approach Utilization (HEA-U) Activity is to strengthen analytic and information management capacity for disaster risk management through the use of HEA tools.

Potential offerors are advised that this pre-solicitation notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. USAID does not intend to award a contract, nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this notice. The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation notice required by FAR 5.2- Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions in preparation for release of a Request for Proposal (RFP) at a later date.

Potential offerors are advised that this pre-solicitation notice is not a RFP, and in no way obligates USAID/Ethiopia to issue a RFP or to award a contract. The information contained in this pre-solicitation notice is released to the public for informational purposes only and is subject to change.
