Description
UKRI's RAL Space department seek to procure a collimator system for optical measurements over the visible (VIS) to thermal infrared (TIR) wavelength range (spectral range: 0.40 μm to 14.00 μm).
The system shall be used to provide pre-launch optical characterisation and calibration of small earth observing satellites, imaging systems and any remote sensing optical solution that falls under the category of small EO satellites.
The proposed system shall include a collimator, appropriate uniform white light and TIR sources, precision targets and target wheel for specific tests.
The system shall include all the necessary equipment and control software needed to operate the equipment (mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, electro-optical and software/firmware)
All individual parts are expected to be fully integrated into a robust enclosure system.
