1. TheGovernmentofUzbekistanhasreceivedfinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of theAgriculture Modernization Projectand intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract forUAVs for the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
2. TheInternational Center for Strategic Development and Research in the Field of Food and Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculturenow invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders forUAVs for the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “ProcurementRegulations for IPF Borrowers” Third edition-July 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information fromInternational Center for Strategic Development and Research in the Field of Food and Agriculture under the Ministry of Agricultureand inspect the bidding document during office hours09:00to 17:00 Tashkent timeat the address given below.
5. The bidding document inEnglishmay be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by e- mail.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or beforeJanuary 10, 2024, 16.00 local time.Electronic Biddingwill notbe permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” and “FINANCIAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below onJanuary 10, 2024, 16.00 local time. All envelopes marked “SECOND ENVELOPE: FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Purchaser until the second public opening.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by aBid-Securing Declaration.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
