1.TheMinistry of Transports and Communicationshasreceivedfinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of theMozambique Digital Acceleration Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts[1]fortheAcquisition of Emergency Telecom Equipment for INCM.

2.TheMinistry of Transports and Communicationsnow invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for supply ofEmergency Telecom Equipment for INCMto be acquired in single Lot.

3.Bidding will be conducted throughinternational competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)as specified in the World Bank’s “ProcurementRegulations for IPF Borrowers”November2020 edition(“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from TheMinistry of Transports and Communications (MTC) – Procurement Sector Att:procure.satcp@gmail.com,procure@padim.gov.mz,vicentesaveca@gmail.comand inspect the bidding document during office hours 8.00 to 14.00 hoursat the address given below.

5.The bidding document in English may be requested byinterested Bidders and furnished free of cost upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be collected at the address below:

6.Bids must be delivered to the address below on 1stMarch 2024.Late Bids will be rejected. Electronic Biddingwill notbe permitted. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at MTC address belowon1st March, 2024 at10;00a.m. local time.

7.All Bids must be accompanied by aBid Securityin value of$30 000, valid for 120 days

8.Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
