Sudan’s infrastructure and development trajectory has been heavily disrupted by political instability and conflict, resulting in deterioration of transport, energy and water systems. Recovery will require substantial reconstruction financing, institutional reform and improved governance to restore infrastructure capacity and rebuild investor confidence.
