1. The Moldovan Higher Education Project (PÎSM) is a project financed by the World Bank to be implemented between May 2020 and December 2025.

       The total cost of the loan is 35.7 million Euros (the equivalent of 39.4 million USD) financed by the International Development Association (IDA) and is granted to the Republic of Moldova in support of higher education in Moldova.

     The objective of the project is to improve the labor market orientation of the selected higher education institutions and quality assurance mechanisms. The project is organized around three components and includes systemic interventions in the areas of quality, financing and management of higher education.

A component of the PÎSM is the Higher Education Improvement Program (PÎÎS) to be implemented by the selected higher education institutions and pedagogical colleges to respond to some of their most pressing needs for the purpose of orientation to the labor market.

Thus, in order to achieve the objectives of PÎÎS, the Ministry signed with the IP College "Alexei Mateevici" the sub-financing agreement of the sub-project "Open Space Education and "Educational Hubs Alley" no. MD-MOED-6542-ASF-C-01 of 24.10.2022. According to the Subfinancing Agreement, part of the allocated funds will be used to finance the contract awarded in the framework of the purchase of current repair works of the spaces predestined for the "Open Space Education and "Educational Hubs Alley" subproject .

2. The public institution "Alexei Mateevici" College invites eligible economic operators to submit sealed bids for the purchase of current repair works of the premises predestined for the "Open Space Education and "Educational Hubs Alley" sub-project, which include floor rehabilitation works, the installation of the suspended ceiling, modernizing the stage, plastering and painting the walls, installing electrical networks, renovating the heating system as well as installing the ventilation system, with a maximum period of 90 days.
3. The purchase will be carried out through the request for quotations (RFQ) procedure, as specified in the "World Bank Regulation on Purchases for Debtors Financing Investment Projects - Purchases under Investment Projects with the Financing of Goods, Works, Non- Consultancy and Consultancy", from 1 July 2016, revised on 1 November 2017 and 1 August 2018 (hereinafter referred to as " Procurement Regulation"); and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Prenotat Procurement Regulations.

Late offers, submitted after the deadline indicated above, will be rejected.  

6. The offers will be opened publicly in the presence of the designated representatives of the Offerors and any person who chooses to participate in the opening of the offers, at the address below sent to the address: IP Colegiul "Alexei Mateevici" in Chisinau; Puskin str. 54, or. Chisinau; office: cab. 12, et. 1 on 20.02.2024, 11:15 a.m.
