The work of this contract encompasses field-based vegetation sampling of forested and non-forested condition inventory plots across the Rocky Mountain Research Station, North Dakota area. It includes, but is not limited to locating, monumenting, and photographing plots and conducting inventories of trees, shrubs, forbs, grass, collecting tree cores, and setting characteristics using a variety of protocols in the RMRS FIA P2 Field Procedures (see Attachment 1).
The work performed and the data collected shall be in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions and provisions of this solicitation and the RMRS FIA P2 Field Procedures (see Attachment 1). The guide specifies the procedures and definitions for field implementation unless modified by this contract.
