Building Safety and Resilience in the Pacific Phase II

Objectives: The Building Safety and Resilience in the Pacific Phase II (BSRP II) project aims to reduce the impact of disasters, including those caused by climate change, on Pacific Island Countries. BSRP II focuses on tackling underlying drivers of risk through improved understanding, preparedness, policy support, and education initiatives at local, national, and regional levels. It seeks to strengthen disaster risk governance and enhance multi-sectoral resilience and capacity for preparedness, response, and recovery. Through these efforts, the project intends to prevent human loss and suffering, build stronger, more resilient communities, and reduce the adverse economic, social, and environmental impacts of climate change and disasters.
