1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) online of the World Bank and Systematic Tracking of Exchanges in Procurement (STEP).
2. Mzuzu University through the Ministry of Education has received Financing from the Malawi Government and World Bank towards the cost of Skills for A Vibrant Economy (SAVE).
3. Part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Construction of Entrepreneurs Training and Incubation Centre at Mzuzu University Main Campus (Luwinga Campus).
4. Mzuzu University now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Construction of Entrepreneurs Training and Incubation Centre at Mzuzu University Main Campus (Luwinga Campus).
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the Procurement and Disposal Unit, Mzuzu University, Private Bag 201, Luwinga, Mzuzu 2. Malawi, email: pdu@mzuni.ac.mw copying saveproject@mzuni.ac.mw
6. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK20, 000.00 or its equivalent. The payment should be deposited to the following bank account:

7. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the World Bank Standard Bidding Document and Procurement Regulations for Procurement of Goods or Works.
8. Bids must be delivered and deposited in the TENDER BOX placed at the Mzuzu University Reception by 10:00 hours Malawi local time on Tuesday 20th August, 2024. The bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security which has been indicated in the bid document.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 10:00 hours Malawi local time on Tuesday 20th August, 2024 at Mzuzu University in the Main Boardroom located in the University Administration Block.
