Objectives: The Dairy Modernisation and Market Access (DiMMA) Programme, co-funded by the Georgian Government, IFAD, and the Adaptation Fund, aims to modernize and diversify Georgia's dairy industry. Objectives include enhancing smallholder dairy producers' livelihoods, promoting sustainable practices, improving natural resource management, and complying with food safety standards. The DiMMA programme's overall goal is rural economic development and poverty reduction through a competitive and resilient dairy industry. It is expected to improve market access and production practices, especially in mountainous areas, over a six-year period concluding in June 2025.
