1.The Federal Government of Nigeria has receivedfinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the bid forProcurement ofDouble Cabin Pick-Up and Bus

2. The Gombe State Project Management Unitof Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid LandscapesProject now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for:

3. Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.

4. Bidding will be conducted through International competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”September 2023(“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Gombe State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project Management Unit; email: gombeacresal@gmail.com,and inspect the bidding document during office hours9.00 am to 4.00 pm at the address given below excluding public holiday.

4. Qualification’s requirements include:

Evidence of previous supply (sale) of similar Equipment proposed for the last 5 years.

Provide evidence of firm’s corporate registration in Nigeria or overseas.

Audited Financial Statements for the last 5 years to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and adequate working capital.

Have a minimum of Two (2) similar supplies of or related equipment with at least a value of: NGN 1.08 billion, that have been satisfactorily or substantially completed as prime supplier between January 1, 2018 and the submission deadline. The qualifying contracts must be in above listed equipment or related to the assignment.

Minimum average annual turnover in the last Five (5) years of at least: NGN2.0 billion

Have liquidity and/or evidence of access to or availability of confirmed positive credit facilities of N50,000 million.

A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied.

6. The bidding document in English languagemay be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of fifty Thousand (50,000.00)Naira or its equivalent in foreign currency. The method of payment will be Bank draft in favour of Gombe ACReSAL orpay directly into this bank account; Gombe State ACReSAL, TAJ, Account Number:0002441862 and bring the payment evidence to the address below.The bidding document will be sent to the bidder by email or courier on request at the cost of the bidder.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 4.00 pm, 17thSeptember,2024 Electronic Bidding will not be permitted.Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 4.00 pm, noon 17thSeptember,2024

8. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid-Security”

9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
