Kiribati: Pacific Islands Regional Oceanscape Program: Consultant for training in case presentation and Court proceedings

Objectives: The objectives of the tender are to provide comprehensive training to fisheries officers of Kiribati as witnesses in case proceedings related to fisheries and fishing operations. The training aims to prepare officers to act in both prosecutorial roles and as expert witnesses, encompassing skills such as fish identification, catch recording, description of fishing operations, and maintenance and understanding of navigation and electronic equipment. Additionally, the training will cover international and domestic legal frameworks, evidence collection, preparation, and presentation, as well as cross-examination skills.
