- The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ethiopian Flood Management Project (E-FMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of 20 Field Vehicles (Double Cabin Pick-up and Mid Bus HI Roof) for EMI.
- The Ethiopian Meteorological Institute now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of 20 Field Vehicles (Double Cabin Pick-up and Mid Bus HI Roof) to deliver to Ethiopian Meteorological Institute head office, Addis Ababa within 120 days delivery period and the purchaser will grant not margin of preference.
- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Federal Public Procurement directive.
- Bidders are required to attach with their application, a copy of their renewed trade licenses, VAT certificate, Tax clearance TIN certificate, and (Registration in FPPA new supplier list for local bidders).
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian Meteorological Institute Procurement Section, and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:30 a.m. 12:00 noon in the morning and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon at the address given below.
- A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the the submission of a written application to address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 200.00 (Two hundred birr) starting from the announcement from the announcement floated on the newspaper.
- Replies to clarifications requested the supplier by this emailed directly getachewhtsegaw@gmail.com to the bidder or written. All responses to clarifications will be posted by the mentioned e-mail address on the bidders are solely responsible for monitoring during the bidding process for all clarifications/amendments with respect to this IFB.
- All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 1,000,000.00 (One million birr) in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO to the Ethiopian Meteorological Institute, and shall remain valid for 118 (One Hundred eighteen) days. For Bank Guarantee the bidder must use the bank guarantee form included in section IV (Bid Form) of the bidding Document.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 21, 2024, Time 2:00 p.m. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ or representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on October 21, 2024, Time 2:30 p.m.
- Bid shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the Bid Submission deadline.
