GRANT 58181-001 UZB: Precision Agriculture for Resilient Commercial Horticulture Sector Project - ISCAD-CS-07 National Procurement Expert

Objectives: The Precision Agriculture for Resilient Commercial Horticulture Sector Project aims to promote horticulture commercialization by forming producer groups and strengthening vertical market linkages with agribusiness. Located in Bakhmal district, Jizzakh region, it directly benefits at least 170 small-scale farmers and indirectly supports around 85 agricultural workers and their families. It encourages collaboration to produce consistent, high-quality produce, with agribusinesses sourcing raw produce from these groups. The project also provides digital and climate-smart equipment for horticultural production, along with promoting water- and energy-efficiency, and climate resilience through new technologies.
