Description

The United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invites qualified companies/individuals to submit proposals to conduct the Evaluation of UNESCO’s work on Disaster Risk Reduction. The evaluation will assess the relevance, effectiveness and impact of the work done of the full spectrum of UNESCO’s activities UNESCO’s activities, across four different programme sectors and the IOC, since the adoption of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction in 2015. It will further assess its coherence with UNESCO’s strategic objectives and determine the efficiency and sustainability of UNESCO’s DRR Unit, as well as UNESCO’s DRR activities more broadly. The objective is for the evaluation to provide evidence and recommendations to improve the implementation of DRR oriented activities across UNESCO. The time schedule for the evaluation is planned between November 2024 and May 2024. It is mandatory that none of the members of the evaluation team have been previously involved in the implementation of the activities under review. Please refer to attached Procurement Notice.
