1. The Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Forestry has secured financing from the World Bank to cover the expenses of the Turkey Climate Resilient Forestry Project (İDOP) and is considering using a portion of the financing amount for payments under the contract for the Procurement of Laboratory Equipment and Measurement Stations for the Western Mediterranean Forestry Research Institute Directorate .

2. The General Directorate of Forestry invites suitable applicants to submit sealed bids for the work of "Procurement of Laboratory Equipment and Measurement Stations for the Directorate of Western Mediterranean Forestry Research Institute" . Within the scope of the work, the entire work of " Procurement of Laboratory Equipment and Measurement Stations for the Directorate of Western Mediterranean Forestry Research Institute" will be supplied and installed in the Forest Ecology and Soil Research Laboratory of the Directorate of Western Mediterranean Forestry Research Institute, in the Distribution List to be provided by the Administration, in a working/ready-to-use condition in accordance with the technical specifications, according to the deadline plan specified in the contract, following the signing of the contract.

5. The tender will be conducted through an open tender method by issuing a Request for Bids (RFB) as set out in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers ” (“Procurement Regulations”) dated November 2020, which incorporate the World Bank Procurement Rules, and is open to all Bidders defined in the Procurement Regulations. 

6. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the General Directorate of Forestry, Western Mediterranean Forestry Research Institute Directorate Dr. Hüseyin YILMAZ (huseyinyilmaz01@ogm.gov.tr) and review the tender document during business hours (10:00-17:00) at the address below .

7. Interested Bidders may obtain the tender document prepared in Turkish by submitting a written application to the e-mail address below and presenting the payment receipt after paying a non-refundable fee of 2,500.00 TL (two thousand five hundred Turkish liras). The tender document will be delivered to the address declared by the bidder via e-mail or by hand.

Bids must be delivered to the General Directorate of Forestry, Western Mediterranean Forestry Research Institute Directorate, (Dr.Hüseyin YILMAZ), Sedir Mahallesi Vatan Bulvarı Antalya Forestry Regional Directorate Floor/Room Number: 2nd Floor, Laboratory 2 Site, 712 Sokak No:5 07010 Muratpaşa / ANTALYA / TURKEY by 10:00 on 31.10.2024 at the latest. Electronic Bids will not be allowed. Late-delivered Bids will not be evaluated. Bids will be opened on 31.10.2024 at 10:10 at the General Directorate of Forestry, Western Mediterranean Forestry Research Institute, Sedir District, Vatan Boulevard, Antalya Forestry Regional Directorate, Floor/Room Number: 2nd Floor, Laboratory 2 Site, 712 Street No:5 07010 Muratpaşa / ANTALYA /TURKEY, in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives and any other parties who may wish to attend .

10. The offer will be valid for 60 (sixty) days from the last bid submission date. All bids must be accompanied by a temporary guarantee of 70,000 USD (seventy thousand US dollars) or an equivalent amount. If the temporary guarantee is given in a different currency, the exchange rate to be applied in converting the guarantee amount will be the indicative foreign exchange sales rates announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey at 15.30 on the last business day 28 (twenty eight) days before the bid opening date.
