  1. The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received financing from the World Bank and on-lent the financing to nineteen participating states (namely Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ebonyi and Osun) toward the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and Osun PIU intends to apply part of the proceeds toward eligible payments under the contract for Backlog Maintenance / Rehabilitation of 72.84km Rural Roads in Osun State. This contract will be financed by the International Development Association (IDA) and Osun State Government. The procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.

Note: The project involves backlog maintenance/rehabilitation of an existing rural feeder road having a total length of 72.84km. The works include but arenot limited to; Site clearance and Earthwork, Culverts and Drains, Pavement and Surfacing as well as thestrict undertaking of Social and Environmental Safeguards. The work is expected to be completed within 18 months and adefect Liability Period of 12 months.

  1. Bidding will be conducted through theNational Competitive procurement method using theRequest for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” September 2023- Fifth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordinator Osun State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1600 at the address below.
  3. The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN200,000.00) only per LOT.
