PSS Date: 30 October 2024 Cover Letter Invitation To Bid (Procurement of Medical Equipment for South and North of Yemen) The World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO/EMRO) seeks offers for the Procurement of Medical Equipment for South and North of Yemen, as per the attached specifications under (Annex 1 & 2). •QUERIES: A prospective bidder requiring any clarification on may submit his questions via UNGM “Correspondence” tab not later than 6 November 2024, 23:59 hours, Cairo/Egypt time. • CLOSING DATE: Offers must be uploaded via UNGM, “Tender Documents” tab not later than 13 November 2024 at [23:59] hours, Cairo/Egypt time. SUBMISSION OF OFFERS:  The Technical and Financial proposal must be submitted in the attached Annexes as an excel sheet and in PDF format. Bids with a different pricing format may be rejected.  Offers are accepted in US Dollars, or any other United Nations UN convertible currency will be acceptable.  Offers must comply with the requirements stated in the attached Invitation to Bid (ITB). All requirements should be completed as per the annexes.  If interested, you are kindly requested to register through United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) by logging-in to this site: https://www.ungm.org. After having an active account, continue following the guidance, until you express your interest to this bid. Then, you will be transferred to WHO’s e-tendering system to be able to collect the bidding documents and access your tender opportunities.  All offers should be submitted in UNGM website before the above-mentioned closing date  Any order resulting from this invitation shall contain WHO’s General Terms and Conditions and any other specific terms or conditions detailed with the attached invitation to bid. INCOTERMS 2020: - FCA, nearest airport/port OR - DAP, Sana’a & Aden SELECTION/REJECTION CRITERIA 1- LOA for non-manufacturer traders, it should be authorized to distribute the quoted products by the manufacturer. 2- The bidder should have presence or local agent in Yemen. 3- Detailed Specifications 4- All quality certificates. 5- Items Catalogues 6- Country of Origin and Manufacturer name for the offered product. 7- Ability to provide Certificate of origin COO. 8- Validity period of the offer, not less than 180 days. 9- Delivery Time for each product not: more than three months. 10- Currency. 11- Pack Size. 12- Unit Price and Total Price. 13- The delivery incoterms should be DAP Sana’a & Aden, Yemen. 14- Completion of Annex 8 (Special Terms) is mandatory. 15- Completion of Annexes 1 & 2 excel file (Please share both excel and PDF signed copy. UN CODE OF CONDUCT: Confirmation of acceptance that your esteemed company accepts the terms mentioned in the attached UN Code of Conduct, must be received in the same letter containing your bid.
