  1. The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has received financing from the World Bank and the L’Agence Française de Développement (French Development Agency or AFD) and on-lent the financing to nineteen participating States (namely Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ebonyi and Osun) towards the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction/Upgrading of 56.10Km Rural Roads in Ondo State. This contract will be jointly financed by the L’Agence Française de Développement (French Development Agency or AFD), World Bank and Ondo State Government. Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.

The project involves Rural Road Upgrading of existing rural feeder roads having a total length of 56.10 km. The works include but not limited to; Site clearance and Earthwork, Road Upgrading, Culverts and Drains, Pavement and Surfacing as well as strict undertaking of Social and Environmental Safeguard. The work is expected to be completed within 15 months.

  1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procurement method using Request for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank’s “ProcurementRegulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” September, 2023- Fifth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”),and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordinator Ondo State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1600 at the address given below.
  3. The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only (NGN150,000.00)for One (1) lot only while additional lots will attract a cost of One Hundred Thousand Naira only (NGN100,000.00)per other lots.
