TA-6590 REG: Subproject 1: Technical Assistance to Strengthen Implementation of Gender Mainstreaming in Nonsovereign Investments (54391-002)

Objectives: Objective and Purpose of the Assignment: The private sector team of the Gender Equality Division of the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department (CCGE) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is implementing a Regional Technical Assistance (TA) Program: Strengthen Implementation of Gender Mainstreaming in Nonsovereign Investments, to support the performance and delivery of gender development results by private sector clients. The purpose of the TA Program is to enhance gender mainstreaming capacities in non-sovereign operations. It supports the scaling up of effective approaches in gender mainstreaming, implementation and monitoring of gender inclusive initiatives including supporting private sector clients to meet their gender commitments through corporate initiatives and gender-inclusive business practices.
