Development of an investment strategy for 30x30 implementation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Objectives: The primary objective of this consultancy is to develop an investment strategy for implementing Target 3 of the 30x30 Initiative in the DRC, focusing on biodiversity conservation and sustainable resource management. The strategy should include financial and economic forecast analysis, business plans, evaluation of costs for creating and managing protected areas, indigenous lands, and other conservation measures. Additionally, it should identify current funding streams, innovate investment mechanisms, and provide policy recommendations for scaling up financing. This strategy will help manage conservation while aligning with national priorities and benefiting climate and biodiversity.
