GRANT-0404 TIM: Road Network Upgrading Sector Project - Consulting Service for the Design of remedial measures at locations to be rehabilitated along Manatuto – Laclubar – Natarbora Road (46260-002)

Objectives: The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste has experienced significant damage to its national road network due to unprecedented rains and landslides, causing major disruptions. The Government has sought assistance from major donors and allocated funds for emergency rehabilitation. The main objectives include investigating and identifying causes of road failures and preparing detailed designs for their permanent rehabilitation to counter climate change impacts. The focus is on 48 locations along the Manatuto - Laclubar – Natarbora road, which have suffered slope and pavement failures.
