The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank and the French Development Agency (AFD) and on-lent the financing to nineteen participating states (namely Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ebonyi and Osun) toward the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for58.837km Upgrading of Rural roads in Kogi State (Lots 1-2). This contract will be financed by the International Development Association (IDA), French Development Agency and Kogi State Government. Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations

Note:The project involves improvement of an existing rural feeder roads having a total length of 58.837km. The works include but not limited to; Site clearance and Earthwork, Culverts and Drains, Pavement and Surfacing as well as strict undertaking of Social and Environmental Safeguard. The work is expected to be completed within 18 months.

  1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement method using Request for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects” September, 2023- Fifth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project CoordinatorKogi State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU)and inspect the bidding document during office hours 9:00 am to 4:00 pm local time at the address given below.
