Enhancement of the Public Procurement Data Space (PPDS)

Objectives: The aim is to enhance and extend the Public Procurement Data Space (PPDS) by using open-source components and reusable common building blocks to ensure its EU-wide interoperability, scalability, and sustainability. This enhancement will allow the PPDS to support the modernization and efficiency of public procurement processes by making data accessible for analysis and enabling the development of new, innovative services that align with EU strategic priorities. The anticipated outcomes include improved transparency, economic efficiency, and resilience in public procurement across the EU.
