RFP A Platform to catalyze reforestation and forest conservation activities through the participation of the private sector and the general public

Objectives: The overall objective of the assignment is to examine the feasibility of carbon offsetting mechanisms linked to reforestation activities in Georgia and encourage private sector involvement in sustainable forest management through volunteer activities and carbon offsetting mechanisms. The project, named 'Forest Friend,' aims to catalyze reforestation and forest conservation activities by engaging both the private sector and the general public, thereby enhancing Georgia's carbon capturing capacity through its forestry sector by 10% compared to the 2015 level by 2030.
