Single Design-Build contract for the engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the Santiago Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant (PSP)

Objectives: The objectives of the tender are to engage in a Single Design-Build contract for the engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of the Santiago Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant (PSP) in Cabo Verde. The project intends to establish a 20 MW reversible closed-loop powerplant with associated facilities such as two earth fill reservoirs, a desalination plant, a 60 kV transmission line, and involves the construction of new access roads and enhancement of local infrastructure. Environmental and socioeconomic measures are also part of the project objectives.
