The Government of the Republic of Moldova has received funding from the World Bank for the cost of the "Improving the Quality of Education" Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds from payments under the contract for the Procurement of Equipment, Furniture and Teaching Materials for Special Needs Schools , as follows:
Lot 1: Equipment for school laboratories
Lot 2: Classroom furniture
Lot 3: Sports equipment
Lot 4: Materials and equipment for inclusion resource centers
The Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova is currently requesting sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of equipment, furniture and teaching materials for special needs for schools .
The procurement will be conducted through the Request for Proposal (RFP) procedure by approaching the national market, as specified in the "World Bank Procurement Regulations for Debtors of Investment Project Financing – Procurement of Goods, Works, Non-Consulting Services and Consulting", dated November 2020 and with the most recent Guidelines on Preventing and Combating Fraud and Corruption in Projects Financed by IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (hereinafter referred to as the "Anti-Corruption Guidelines") and is open to all eligible bidders, as defined in the aforementioned Procurement Regulations.

The document in electronic format will be sent via email.
Offers must be submitted to the following address: Republic of Moldova, Chisinau municipality, 180 Stefan cel Mare and Saint blvd., 13th floor, office 1305, by January 30, 2025 before 11:00 a.m.
Electronic bidding will not apply. Late bids submitted after the deadline indicated above will be rejected.
The bids will be opened publicly in the presence of the designated representatives of the Bidders and any person who chooses to participate in the bid opening, at the address: Chisinau municipality, 180 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt blvd., 13th floor, office 1305, on January 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security Statement.
