Description:

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for GRD Cargo Van Upfit

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and/or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The combined synopsis/solicitation number is 1240BF25Q0004 and is issue as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to establish a Firm-Fixed-Price contract.

The combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-01, effective 12 November 2024.

This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811121, Autimotive Body, Paint, and Interior Repair and Maintenance. The NAICS Code was identified through a review of the U.S. Census Bureau’s website where Van Conversion Shops (Except on Assembly Line of Factory Basis) was listed as a corresponding index category. The small business size standard is $9 million.

Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Structure: Refer to Schedule of Items and Price Sheet (Attachment 2).

Description of Requirement: The contractor shall furnish and install insulation, shelving units and workbench items on a government-owned 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Cargo Van with a 144” Wheelbase and Standard Roof as described in the Product Specifications (Attachment 1).
