Objectives: This tender aims to provide technical support for the implementation of agroforestry systems as part of strengthening climate resilience in rural communities and ecosystems in Ahuachapán Sur, El Salvador. The project focuses on increasing forest cover, reducing soil degradation, and ensuring local productivity and resilience against climate change. It includes four components: ecosystem-based adaptation, identification of alternative livelihoods, regional climate and hydrological monitoring, and strengthening institutional coordination and local governance for landscape management in the face of climate variability.
