UNDP-SLV-00385 Tecnico 2 Implementacion Sistema Agroforestal - Ahuachapan sur El Salvador

Objectives: The main objective of this tender is to provide technical support for the implementation of agroforestry systems under Component 1 of the Project No. 0011194 titled "Strengthening Climate Resilience of Rural Communities and Ecosystems in Ahuachapan Sur, El Salvador." The intent is to reduce the vulnerability of communities and productive ecosystems in the municipality of San Francisco Menéndez against the risks posed by drought, soil erosion, and sudden flooding due to climate change and variability. This will be achieved through ecosystem-based adaptation within a productive landscape approach aimed at increasing forest cover while offering economic alternatives to prevent soil degradation, maintaining local productivity, and ensuring resilience to climate change.
