Objectives: The "Climate Resilient Green Community" (CRGC) Project, supported by World Vision Hongkong and Action For Development (AFD), aims to enhance the resilience and sustainability of communities in Preah Vihear province, Cambodia. The project focuses on adopting regreening community practices and applying the Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) model across four districts - Cheysaen, Rovieng, Chheab, and Tbeng Meanchey. It seeks to restore natural vegetation, improve ecosystem services/functions, diversify and increase livelihood options/income, and reduce vulnerability and risk to climate change/environmental degradation. Key objectives include promoting sustainable forest and community resource management, engaging youth in environmental activities, and improving community livelihoods through sustainable agriculture and non-timber forest product (NTFP) development. This three-year initiative started on July 2024 and expects direct and indirect benefits to 7,650 community members.
