Objectives: The primary objective of this assignment is to estimate the costs involved in the development of the infrastructure required to support offshore wind in the Caspian Sea and potentially the transmission of renewable energy from Central Asia. This includes cost estimates for scenarios involving capital expenditures for coastal infrastructure to absorb and transmit 15 GWh/year and 36 GWh/year electricity, as well as a combined project scenario. The components to be assessed include substations for grid integration, port facilities, vessels, shipping logistics, and other recommended components.
