TA-10484 PHI: Preparing and Implementing Climate- and Disaster-Resilient Transport Projects - 02 Contract Management Unit Associate (DOTr) (50288-008)

Objectives: The Department of Transportation (DOTr), Planning and Project Development Office (PPDO), the implementing office for ADB projects, requires immediate and medium-term capacity building to avoid delays in launching works under ADB-financed infrastructure projects. Due to a heavy workload from several large-scale master plans, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering designs under the ADB-financed Infrastructure Preparation and Innovation Facility, and an upcoming proposed $9 billion infrastructure lending for 2025-27, the National Contract Management Unit Associate will assist in project and contract implementation of ODA-financed projects. The projects include, but are not limited to IPIF-Original (ADB Loan No. 3589-PHI), IPIF Additional Financing, and IPIF Second Additional Financing. Their main role involves supporting project implementation to ensure seamless preparation and implementation of ADB-financed projects with DOTr.
