Fresh Vegetable Maximum Residue Level (MRL) Analysis

Objectives: The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking a service provider to conduct vegetable safety analysis, particularly focusing on Maximum Residue Level (MRL) tests, for various vegetable varieties along the value chain in five project counties in Kenya: Kiambu, Nairobi, Machakos, Nakuru, and Mombasa. The project aims to improve vegetable consumption among urban and peri-urban Bottom of the Pyramid consumers. The service provider will determine key touch points, recommend sampling strategies, conduct tests on at least 140 samples, develop a findings report, and participate in a dissemination workshop with stakeholders.
