It will involve upgrading MDRs to an intermediate lane width of 5.5 meters, or two lane widths of 7 meters, depending on traffic requirements; reconstruction, widening, and strengthening culverts and bridges; and maintaining the improved road assets for 5 years after construction. The project will also develop and introduce a cashless accident victim treatment facility in the state, and improve the accident response system.
