For Sri Lankan Bidders Only*********** The objectives of the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN) and FP Quality Improvement (QI) Plan will be centered around the elements of health care quality such as access, effectiveness, efficiency, timeliness, safety, people-centeredness, integration and equity. Meeting the quality objectives will lead to reduction in maternal, newborn and child morbidity and mortality and improve well-being of mothers, newborns and under-five children. While the main scope is to improve the quality of RMNCH and nutrition services, at all levels of care in the public sector, the private sector will be covered as the sector plays a role in provision of maternal and child health services especially in the urban areas. Relevant International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) that significantly contribute to MNCHN and FP may be considered in the stakeholder analysis described below. The intended users of the quality improvement plan will be the FHB, provincial and district health officials including MOMCH and District Healthcare Quality and Safety Units, Directorate of HCQS, Hospital Quality Management Units (QMU) as well as the private sector. This will also be useful for the frontline health care providers who are directly in contact with the clients. The recruited organization is expected to provide professional technical support to Conduct a landscape analysis of quality initiatives related to pre-pregnancy, maternal and child health, child nutrition and FP in Sri Lanka which includes an assessment of the implementation of the quality initiatives including in the private sector institutions.
