International Expert for Groundwater Monitoring System

Objectives: The general objective of the 'EU4RIVERS' project is to enhance the implementation of the National Water Reform in Albania and progress towards meeting EU water legislation requirements. This will result in increased capacities for managing the water sector in accordance with EU policies. The specific objective is to increase Albania's compliance with the EU water acquis. The project aims to achieve outputs such as the enhancement of the Integrated Water Management legal framework, increased implementation of River Basin Management in line with the EU WFD, and sustainable improvement of water monitoring, reporting, and enforcement as per EU directives.
