TA-10150 KAZ: KEEP, Phase 5 | Pre-project survey for the development of the information system “Electronic portal of guarantee reimbursement payments” (EPP) (57098-001)

Objectives: The purpose of KDIF is to ensure the stability of Kazakhstan's financial system by guaranteeing depositor payments when a participating bank loses its license. A new process for guarantee payments, started in 2021, provides remote service access and transfers unclaimed amounts to pension accounts. KDIF plans to automate payment processes through an information system called EPP. A pre-project survey, conducted by a consultant, will analyze and predict technical solution effectiveness, leading to clear project requirements and timelines. The project's goal is to develop and fully operationalize the EPP by late 2025 or 2026.
