IC - National Consultant – Strategic Environmental Assessment Expert

Objectives: The project aims to advance Albania's national adaptation plan (NAP) to address climate change vulnerabilities by overcoming current weaknesses such as information gaps, lack of assessments, and integrated climate planning. It seeks to strengthen institutional and technical capacities to support long-term climate change adaptation planning, leveraging a gender-sensitive approach. It includes three main outcomes: strengthening a national strategy to assess capacity gaps, developing an NAP Strategy action plan and implementation plan, and creating financing, monitoring, and evaluation strategies for sustainable adaptation planning.
