Provision of Consultancy Services for a Study on Mobilizing Commercial Financing to Accelerate Health Facility Electrification

Objectives: The consultancy aims to produce a report on 'Mobilizing Commercial Financing to Accelerate Health Facility Electrification (HFE)' in the Global South, aligning with the Powering Healthcare program by SEforALL and UNICEF. The study will identify the necessary enabling environment and conditions to attract commercial financing for electrifying health facilities, particularly focusing on sustainable operation and maintenance. It will analyze case studies from three countries in the Global South, using them to understand how commercial financiers assess the HFE sector, and what policies and financing tools contribute to successful commercial financing. Findings will guide governments, partners, and financiers.
