RFP/UNDP/NAP/PRC0119169/002/2025 - Developing CCA in Wakatobi

Objectives: The objective of this tender is to engage a Service Provider to support the government of Wakatobi District in developing a Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan. This involves conducting a climate risk and vulnerability assessment and formulating a gender and social inclusive, ecosystem and landscape-based adaptation plan. The selected firm will assist the Taskforce for Climate Change Adaptation in Wakatobi to perform the full cycle of the local adaptation plan formulation, referencing relevant regulations and guidelines. The aim is to help Wakatobi District implement local climate adaptation efforts to contribute to national adaptation targets and the NDC. The project seeks to produce documents outlining climate vulnerabilities, risk assessments, adaptation action baselines and targets, and a financing strategy while enhancing local capacity through training.
